About the Event
PARTICIPATION: Is expected and under auspices of our CRTR values. It is also an assessable aspect of the Physical Education program.
EVENTS: Age and championship races (Year 1 to Year 10) for all primary and secondary, team games and relays.
DRESS: Black shorts/skirt and preferably a faction polo shirt or faction coloured shirt (no singlets). A coloured bib will be provided to those that present for a race without a faction shirt.
LUNCH: To get through the program, we will not be breaking for lunch this year. Students will be responsible for ensuring they are eating during a break in their program. Students in Year 1 – 3 will be checked on by faction bay teachers/faction captains to make sure they are eating.
CANTEEN: Will be open on both Jumps and Throws and Faction Athletics Carnival days.
PROTECTION: A shelter will be provided in each faction area, however, SLIP, SLOP, SLAP and additional clothing will further enhance your child’s protection from the elements.

NON-PARTICIPANTS: Students not participating in the carnival with a written medical exemption from a parent or doctor, will be expected to sit in their faction bay or assist in the running of the carnival.
